1989

LotusAutomation is founded employing a staff of three. The initial services include Switchgear & equipment manufacturing, maintenance & an industrial calibration service.

1993

LotusAutomation secured the first major technical services contract with a US fortune 500 Company. We extended our service offerings to include Operations, Maintenance & technical training.

1996

Our Increased business facilitated a move to larger premises. LotusAutomation employed over 60 technical staff. By 1996 and a technical field services division is established within the company.

1999

Expansion to U.K. in 1999 following successfully securing our first international technical services contract. SI Division unveiled in Sligo premises.

2000

Secured our first technical services contract in the USA and assured our entry into what is one of our vital markets today.

2001

Saw us opening our service engineering office in Massachusetts-Lotus Automation USA Inc.

2003

A dedicated product sales division operated from the Sligo office. Partnerships with International suppliers are formed and industrial products are offered and distributed by Lotus Automation to our customers.

2004

Lotus AMC is established, a new venture into Asset Management Consulting is undertaken by the company. Asset Performance Management is about understanding and improving performance and availability of the machinery used in the production process and is a move to the consulting arena for the company.

2005

The company moved location to new company headquarters at Marino House, Finisklin Business Park, Sligo. In the same year LotusAutomation acquired the electrical and mechanical division of JH Kelly construction company in Auburn MA - KM Kelly.

2006

LotusGroup USA offices opened in Washington State. LotusAutomation USA Inc & KM Kelly moved to larger premises in Auburn MA also. This same year Fergal Broder MD is one of the finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year awards in Ireland.

2007

LotusAutomation acquires sister companies PO&M & PII based on US West Coast.
LotusAutomation wins Business Achievers award December 2007

2008

LotusAutomation a complete branding process and rename the company to LotusWorks.
