LotusWorks is today a group of companies, but the origin of the company is traced to Sligo Ireland, where Fergal Broder CEO started the company in 1989. Until this year, the company was known as LotusAutomation but owing to successful geographical and service offering expansion the company was re-branded to it's present name: LotusWorks.

LotusWorks operates today as three divisions- Lotus Technical Services, Lotus Construction Management and Lotus Construction Services and has office locations on three continents.

When established initially the company focused on supplying automation services, offering switchgear & equipment manufacturing to local industries based in Northwest Ireland.

The mission at that time was to deliver a quality service on time and cost effectively. Within 5 years that mission was achieved and the company established a strong reliable reputation with its customers. The client listing expanded to include major multinational companies located in Ireland.

The firm partnerships formed in Ireland led to successfully winning projects and work in the USA and by 2000 Lotus set up an office presence in the country. Two strategic acquisitions ensured LotusWorks a strong presence in the USA and today the company is recognized a global provider of Technical, Construction and Management Services. Working around the world, specializing in solutions that require technical expertise, process knowledge and hands-on experience, LotusWorks customers include a range of process manufacturing industries, commercial and industrial construction companies, electric utilities, power project developers, financial institutions and installation Contractors.

The individual divisions within the LotusWorks organization create and pursue individual strategic plans. Each company, however, shares the common objective of delivering technical competence, flexibility, consistency & responsiveness to their clients.
