Engineering Stores Assessments

Lotus Asset Management division provide engineering stores assessments and assists in improving this internal service function. We recognize that maximizing equipment uptime is crucial to achieving business objectives and profitability. As a result the maintenance, materials and stores internal service functions are critical to success. Stores business processes and their integration into the company's business process are also recognized as key to the overall success of a plant.

Lotus Asset Management stores assessments are conducted on the following main areas:

  • Stores location and layout

  • Stores housekeeping

  • Spares criticality and analysis

  • Stores operation, work practices and organisation

  • Stock management

  • Spares maintenance

  • Stores Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

Performance in each area is compared to what is recognized as best practises in that area. After a stores assessment an assessment report including improvement recommendations is issued to the client. Lotus Asset Management Division can assist you with implementing all or some of the improvement recommendations.
