Machine Safety is a Legal Requirement for all Companies in the EU since 1st Jan 1995 and Management is ultimately responsible for the management of their machine safety. A manufacturer or supplier of goods that is Non Compliant with the current regulations runs the risk of having production machinery withdrawn from Service or face prosecution, fines and/or imprisonment.
CE Marking indicates that a manufacturer or suppliers product is in compliance with all applicable EUI directives, and their "essential requirements".
