Newstalk’s Bobby Kerr arrived to Sligo to record his ‘Down To Business’ show live. Broadcasting from “Fiddlers Creek” bar and restaurant, overlooking the Garvogue River, it was a morning filled with tourism chat, local music and Sligo based entrepreneurs. A great showcase of all that the North West has on offer.
LotusWorks CEO, Fergal Broder, found himself in the ‘Executive Chair’ this week. He talked Bobby through the story of LotusWorks, operating an international company from Sligo and plans for the future. Fergal discussed how he hopes to double in size within the next 5 years.
“It was great to see Sligo business owners together and getting the opportunity to tell their success stories to the national audience on air, it’s very positive for Sligo and can only lead to good things” commented Fergal.
The morning was rounded up with some music from local Sligo band, Rackhouse Pilfer, a Stomping Irish-Americana & Alt-Country Folk Band.
Thanks to Newstalk, the Fiddlers Creek and to Bobby Kerr and his team for highlighting what the NorthWest has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Yeats Country soon again.
