Tool Install Construction Coordinator

Chandler Arizona


  • The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for field execution of the scope of work as it relates to install and move-in/move-out of process and support equipment. 
  • The CC will work day to day with the Functional Area Project Manager (FAPM) and Install/Qual Tool Owners (IQTO), coordinating tactical performance to client processes and procedures supporting site construction activities.
  • The CC will be responsible to effectively communicate to Construction Contractor field resources their performance to design and install supporting safety and quality expectations, ensuring field coordination to project schedule objectives.
  • The CC is the primary field point of contact for the trade contractors and Tool Owners for any tool specific construction issues. 
  • The CC is responsible for Project Construction Safety Performance and is a role model and coach to Living in an injury free environment (LIFE).

Position Deliverables:

  • Executing to schedule in safe manner in support of our injury-free workplace environment (LIFE). Participation in SMBWA/SOP program
  • Coordination with IQ, Design, Suppliers, AZ Corporate services depts.,  to ensure successful equipment Decon/Demo/Install/Qual
  • Ensuring Contractor Protocol and housekeeping communication
  • Construction Incident Investigation participant
  • Conducting Contractor PTP review
  • Tool Box meeting participation
  • Owns utility routing coordination with contractors and Design team
  • LSP review participant ensuring facility systems and specification compliance
  • Review design packages at all stages of the process.  Implement known past issues in future packages.
  • Supports FAPM and/or IQGL on RFI responses
  • Initiation and verification of Field related C/O’s
  • Responsible for scope development of field changes
  • Responsible for scope completion and quality assurance from tool dock through SL2
  • Close out of all Punchlist items
  • Supports OM/PM in invoice validation
  • Contractor communication of established priority
  • Construction Contractor schedule performance and status reporting to FAPM.
  • Coordination of all construction support resources
  • Ensure compliance to Contractor construction procedures
  • Validate contractor submittal of SIPP and EEW requests
  • Coordinate tool MIMO
  • Maintain a daily construction log
  • Own and facilitate a daily functional area whiteboard (coordination) meetings
  • Validate unit measures and cost on all field Change Requests
  • Ensuring all documentation is signed off. 
  • Keeping, on file, all relative documentation for install process (i.e. RFI, Design Packages, Change Requests, etc.)
